I can say every trip was a joy and great time outdoors, no matter the weather, either with other prospectors, or by myself.

They run the gamut, from California to Massachusetts, and a bunch of states in between.  I have to say, fellow prospectors tend to be the friendliest lot, always happy to share advice, equipment and their expertise!

Dredging In Shallow Water On Saprolite Bedrock.

Nice GA Clean Up -- Fines, Flakes, Bird Shot & A Real Nice Picker Too!! 

Video 4: This is one of my many cleanups where I hit a deep bedrock pocket -- found lots of lead bird shot, a bullet fragment and lots of fine/flake gold and a real nice GA picker!!  Sorry, no sound, as my wet gloves let water soak into the camera, and it started to malfunction....but you can still see the gold in the pan as the final result of a great cleanup. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8Pw0lN85b4

Working The Bedrock Close To The Creek Bank... 

Video 5:  Here I show how I dredge, working the bedrock with my suction nozzle and my high pressure water nozzle. I throw rocks, blasted Saprolite bedrock apart, flush the cracks & crevices and got some good GA gold!  I work a large ridge in the bedrock on both sides towards the creek center and the bank. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tb2HY0L9LE8
